Welcome to the Hekate Garden, which is a permaculture and social permaculture learning space in Janoshida, Hungary. The garden is managed by Hekate Conscious Ageing Foundation (HCAF) and is part of the JANOSHIDA2030 project. My name is Kinga and I am the permaculture coordinator of the Garden.

The JANOSHIDA2030 project started in 2020 as a long-term cooperation between the Municipality of Janoshida and HCAF. As time went on, in 2023, we established the garden and community space.

Hekate Garden is about 3400 m2 with fantastic soil, near the Zagyva river. There are already a number of fruit trees eg. plums, apples, pears, walnut etc.

This year (2023) we started the permaculture design and development to create an even richer forest garden in Janoshida. The site is in the center of the village and is going to serve as a learning space and social permaculture site from 2024. Our long-term aim is to establish a co-housing project of consciously ageing women, as well. But there is a long way ahead to get there :).
